January 4th meeting

We had a great Meeting last night. We elected the officers again President is Gerry Davenport, VP is still Rick Hartmann and Secretary is still John Murray.

Rich Webster will be missed as President but has an open invitation to attend and be welcomed as one of our top demonstrators when ever he wishes.

This was the largest member turn out in 6 months almost everyone paid there membership dues. And we now have cash but not enough for the whole year at the Library  which is $360/year.

The members wanted a one time trial at the three other places. The February meeting on the first will be @ Moule’s Paint and Glass in GV (700 Main St)(Wi-Fi? & restroom).

Rick will check into the “A.P.P.L.E.”  location (Wi-Fi & restroom).
The third spot is at the Island Smoothie Beachtro (Wi-Fi, restrooms, & food
Keith Tomassen did a wonderful job with the iPhoto Demo. A nice outline of the whole thing. Even talked some about PhotoShop touch up of photos.
Rick, our Vice President and Ambassador to all things Apple, inundated us with information, free apps, and the like, such as,

If you take a look at some of the cool items and the way the computer world is heading, the internet and media are dictating how we use, or will use, our computers now and in the near future.  Might be time to upgrade to an Intel Mac?
