Firewall Safety Tip
After updating your system be sure and check “Sharing” Preferences to make sure your Firewall is ON.
The default is OFF and it seems to revert to this setting on my computer after installation.

Just remember, the common user will not need the firewall turned on, and turning it on will create a number of other limited access issues, so educate yourself on it thouroghly, to determine if you need it, and how to manage it. All modern routers, switches, internet access boxes have a fire wall active when you power them up. Thanks.
