We had a great turn out for our April meeting, a meeting that found us without each other for two months, and it was great getting together.
Amazing what we covered in 2 hours and had time left over for a casual Q & A period.
We also gave away some great items from RadTech.us thanks to Zach we gave away:

• We also had a presentation — two in fact — from our illustrious man in the sky who flies overhead while we look up in wonderment — Keith Thomassen on scanning photographs, negatives, and slides using the EPSON V300 Scanner; and the information is universal for all scanners, so do not be frightened if you do not have the EPSON V300.
Keith continued his informative presentation on creating an HD DVD using the built in tools on your Mac.

• We were also graced with several new members and guests that we will rectify the introduction issue: it was my fault for taking so much time on the give-aways, please accept my apology and be prepared to share you and your story with us.
THE MISSING DISCOUNT CODE
The reason for this late newsletter is that I am upset and embarrassed that I have misplaced the email from Rad Tech and Zach about the discount code for the group. "HOW CAN YOU MISPLACE AN EMAIL?" Well… I use over 60 email addresses for many and varied reasons, but the correspondence with Zach at Radtech has been through smmug@sierramoustrap,org and smmug@ariapictures.com or so I think. I sometime quickly send out an email to someone not realizing the address I am sending it out with — some of you can attest to that when they get one from gefa_web@theunion.net or some other off the wall address.
Another reason for the misplacement is that I do to keep my computer a mean, clean, computing machine is save emails as PDF's, RTF's, or .eml files and store them on an external HD and delete them in the email app. I am unsure if I did this to the email from Zach. I am unable to find it in my folder where I store emails of the sort, I am unable to find anything of that nature using find, spotlight, and find any file on any storage media I have — spent HOURS looking for it and almost have gone to tears.
This is not the only thing that has eluded me. I have misplaced a folder with all my information, files, and emails from the cast & crew for THE GOLdEN TREE that has there bio's, pictures, and correspondence — some very important information. NOw I would have EVER just up and deleted it, but it is not in the directory with all my other COMPLETED productions.
Needless to say, I am at my wit's end over these disappearing items, and no, I am very meticulous and anal about backup and storage when it come s to important items… but these two have just vanished from all sources.
So when Zach replies, I will get that put to everyone — and it IS RADTECH.us.
